Nabuluu Beaded Leather Wall Hanging - WHITE
ONE OF A KIND
Nabuluu, meaning “something that is growing,” in Maa was the name given by the women to one of the first pieces created using this distinctive cut-out technique.
From that original piece, the design has continued to evolve — growing into a collection of different forms, scales and silhouettes, each exploring the possibilities of beadwork beyond traditional patterns.
Handcrafted by Sidai Designs artisans in Tanzania, thousands of tiny glass beads are meticulously stitched onto soft leather before the piece is cut into its sculptural form. The result is a wall hanging that feels both graphic and organic — rooted in generations of Maasai beadwork while expressed through a contemporary design language.
Each Nabuluu is made entirely by hand, giving every piece its own subtle variations and character. This particular piece is one of a kind.
